How buying works
Clear steps. Clear deadlines.
Everything about buying from us, written down, so there are no surprises.
1. Choose and order
Configure any trailer on our site and you’ll see the price straight away. ATC trailers are at least 10% under MSRP andFeatherlite trailers 8% to 33% under MSRP on the base trailer. Factory options and LifeTrac accessories are at MSRP, line by line. Place your order as a guest: no account and no payment.
2. We confirm within one business day
Our sales team confirms your trailer and your price. The confirmed price is never higher than the price you saw when ordering, and it’s often lower.
If you’ve asked for something special, we confirm a custom build instead: your specification, a build slot and a build deposit (see step 4).
3. Reserve with a $2,000 deposit

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays. “Day 0” is the day our sales team verifies your deposit arrived. Your order page shows each deadline with a live countdown, and we email reminders before each one.

4. Custom builds: 20% build deposit
When your trailer is built to your specification, we place a build order with the factory. Custom builds need a deposit of20% of the confirmed price, up to $15,000. It stays fully refundable until we place the build order, and we tell you before we do. Once the build order is placed, the deposit is non-refundable, because the trailer is being built for you. The balance is due before delivery, and you can follow the build in your order journal.
5. Paying by bank transfer
All payments are made by bank transfer. Bank details appear only on your order page, which opens with a one-time code we email you. Always include your order reference.
Before every payment, tell us it’s coming. Press “Notify us of a payment” on your order page, or emailsales@horseandatctrailers.com with your order reference and the amount. We’ll confirm the bank details on your order page are correct and watch for your transfer, so it’s matched to your order quickly. You can also upload the bank receipt.
6. Delivery
Delivery is free anywhere in the United States. For Canada and other countries we quote shipping before you pay anything, and we’ll tell you plainly if we can’t ship to your address. See delivery & shipping.
